The Fuji Norcom 1.1 16 Frameset was launched under the mantra: Fit Comes First. It was developed in the A2 Wind Tunnel to be one of the fastest bikes in the world. But more importantly, it was designed to offer more positioning options than any other superbike on the market.
Fuji claims that the more adjustability available, the easier it is for riders to dial in their best, the more aerodynamic position-one that does not limit their lungs or weaken their hip flexors, enables them to find their optimal comfort level and thus improves their efficiency and pace.
Fuji has also set out to build on its previous model TT / Tri, the D-6. The results of the wind tunnel showed an aerodynamic gain of 16 percent through the yaw angle sweep over the D-6 as well as a steeper bottom bracket of 26 per cent. Another significant objective was for the Norcom to be mechanic-friendly.
For much smoother brake routing than the D-6 and the inclusion of a vertical dropout, riders and mechanics do not need to take the entire bike apart or consult a manual to make changes-making it simpler for riding, packing, and assembly/disassembly than almost all TT / Tri bikes on the market.
